Windows Markdown workspace

Write offline. Preview clearly. Export professionally.

MarkStudio Pro combines a focused Markdown editor with live preview, Mermaid diagrams, LaTeX math, theme-aware rendering, and practical exports to Word, PDF, and HTML.

MarkStudio Pro split view with Markdown editor and rendered preview

Built for Markdown that has to become a real document.

Use Markdown while you write, then export a structured document without moving your content into another editor.

Live preview

Work in split, editor-only, or preview-only view. Tables, code, links, footnotes, math, and diagrams render while you write.

Offline processing

Your Markdown files are opened, previewed, and exported locally. No document uploads or cloud accounts are required for app use.

Technical writing tools

Toolbar actions insert Markdown, math, symbols, tables, links, images, and Mermaid starter diagrams directly into the editor.

Mermaid diagrams are now part of the workflow.

Create diagram blocks from starters, preview them with the active theme, and export them with the document.

  • Flowcharts, sequence, class, state, ER, Gantt, timeline, mindmap, git graph, journey, and pie diagrams.
  • Theme-aware preview colors in Normal and Paperback palettes.
  • HTML keeps the strongest diagram fidelity; Word and PDF include a Mermaid toggle for export control.

Export controls for actual handoff work.

Word, PDF, and HTML each expose the controls that matter for the format instead of pretending all exports behave the same.

Word

Use Print or Screen mode, export Mermaid diagrams, control body and heading fonts, set H1-H6 sizes, margins, page numbers, and optional header/footer content.

PDF

Choose portrait or landscape, page size, Mermaid inclusion, typography, spacing, margins, and header/footer text.

HTML

Preserve live preview styling while controlling body, heading, and code fonts, spacing, content width, and browser print margins.

Normal and Paperback themes for writing and review.

Normal gives a clean professional workspace. Paperback uses a book-like reading style for longer documents. Both families support light and dark modes.
